Desmond Meade, President and Executive Director of the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition (FRRC), will share his journey from being homeless to being named one of the 100 most influential people in the world by Time Magazine to become a McArthur Genius Fellow. He strives to inspire his audience to discover the dream of MLK within themselves. Co-sponsored with the Black Cultural Center, Carter G. Woodson Center, African and African-American Studies, CCC, CELTS and the Office of the President. Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Convocation.
