Join us for dinner and an insightful presentation by Dr. Nathan Vanderford, as he discusses the upcoming exhibit in the Appalachian Center featuring photographs by students from the University of Kentucky’s Appalachian Career Training in Oncology (ACTION). The exhibit explores the high cancer rates in Kentucky, which has some of the highest rates in the nation.

On these weekly tours, participants will view the exhibit Works of Art on the Art of Quilting: Twenty WPA Quilt Block Prints. Guests will then visit the Special Collections and Archives Reading Room to examine books on, and historic pictures of, quilts and quilt making.
