In this Truth Talk we will discuss what it is like to grow up Black and Appalachian. When people think about the region of Appalachia, they often think about it as predominantly white. The reality is that Appalachia is and always has been more diverse than people think. There is a deep history of Black and Indigenous people in Appalachia. Come Join us! Dinner will be served!
