Prof. Ilyasah Shabazz, author, mentor, educator, and artist, and daughter of Malcolm X and Dr. Betty Shabazz, distinguishes facts from distortions surrounding her father’s life, teachings, and contributions. She details how she currently lives out her parents’ legacy. A motivational speaker, Prof. Shabazz, provides our leaders of today with advice on how they can leverage the legacy of martyred leaders of the past. Carter G. Woodson Memorial Convocation.
