During Hispanic Heritage Month 2023 (Sept. 15-Oct. 15), Hutchins Library will exhibit a set of prints from the Special Collections and Archives containing Manuel Joglar Cacho’s 14-stanza poem, “Por Los Caminos del Día” (“Along the Paths of the Day”) in Hutchins Library foyer gallery. Joglar Cacho (1898–1994) was a celebrated Puerto Rican poet. In 1969 his “Por Los Caminos del Día” was published as a series of 16 prints illustrated by Puerto Rican linoleum print artist José Antonio Torres Martinó (1916–2011). Each Friday at 10:00 AM tours of the exhibit will be offered. All are welcome! Pre-registration by 7:00 AM is required. Please register at https://bctrace.com/explore/.
