Artist Talk with Lonnie and Twyla Money
September 4 @ 4:30 pm - 5:45 pm EDT
In celebration of the opening of Lonnie & Twyla Money: 50 Years of Kentucky Folk Art, on Wednesday, September 4 at 4:30, author Karen Money and the artists Lonnie and Twyla Money will be with us to talk about their work and the process of organizing this very special traveling exhibition, which developed out of Abney’s dedicated work writing a book about the Moneys’ collaborative art practice. Abney’s book, of the same title, is available at most local booksellers in the state and online.
This event is free and open to the public. Refreshments and snacks will be available after the talk. No RSVP necessary.
Lonnie & Twyla Money: 50 Years of Kentucky Folk Art and associated events are co-sponsored by the Doris Ulmann Galleries and the Loyal Jones Appalachian Center and are generously supported by the William A. and Leola Piper Boyce Art Exhibition Endowment Fund.
