Halle “Hal” Gensler (they/them) is a junior experienced in advocacy, youth programming, and other forms of organizing work. They travel across the country working with organizations such as the Norther Hope Facility in Fairbanks, Alaska (a member-run mental health drop-in facility) and the Partnership for Appalachian Girls’ Education in Marshal, North Carolina (an interdisciplinary classroom for young students). Join us as Hal talks about how to overcome self-doubt and imposter syndrome while developing spaces of empowerment in this first Student Activist series of the term.
